Koy-koy cave is located at 8km from Karat city to the direction of Yabelo. It is found approximately 500m away from the roadside to the mountain hill. The cave was recently excavated and studied by a group of researchers from AAU. The radiocarbon date acquired from Koy Koy cave was 1234 and 1195. If excavated deep the site could have an older settlement history. Pottery fragments and sherds were also recovered from the excavation. On the way to the cave abandoned and older terraces are found.
